damnthisisheavy:

Uh, yeah, looks like we are!
-Marty tried to keep up his mirthfulness, but unfortunately, he couldn’t help but feel bad that Twilight was putting the blame upon herself, in spite of her not seemingly personally affected by it. Of course, that’s how Marty perceived it. She and Doc sure bore similar qualities; their aspirations and goals in magic and science didn’t seem to be fazed by emotion. Sighing, the teen merely decided to play along and hope to high heavens that they would resolve this conflict before Twilight ultimately vanishes from existence. If the date they traveled to only extrapolated to May, it wouldn’t even be a year to outrun, thus causing the ripple effect to initiate faster. In other words, it was heavy.-
Man, this place is a mess. I thought your basement in the past was enough, but this is beyond crazy!
Heh…watch your step.
-After nervously grinning at Twilight, Marty proceeded to maneuver around all the mechanical hardware, most of which he couldn’t really decipher to what they were. Future technology was way ahead of Marty’s own time, obviously enough.-

G-Gaah!!
-A minor short circuit caused a few sparks to startle the teen off his feet. About to fall over, Marty attempted to grab hold of something to steady himself. There were a few wires that otherwise couldn’t be bypassed unless stepped upon, so with caution, the teen walked across the wired path, dodging, and getting surprised, by various bursts that emitted here and there. He glanced at Twilight, wherever she was, to make sure she was doing okay herself.-
Talk about a jolt in the electricity bill!! Err…no pun intended.
-Soon enough, Marty reached the stairs, hopefully with Twilight around the same spot, and slowly, albeit reluctantly, began to ascend them. The teen, however, still averted his gaze all over the area, wary of any security cameras that could be tracking down their every move.-
Looks like we’re close…

-But who knew? Who knew if they were close to success, or perhaps a potential danger that lurked within this fortress.-

“Be careful Marty! We don’t know quite what we are dealing with yet. Or at least we don’t know enough about what we are dealing with to come up with an accurate analysis of the whole situation. She noted after watching him deal with the short circuit. It seemed that even in this timeline she still had to deal with the mediocre wiring that made up this place. That told her a lot of things about what exactly her 2012A self did to this place. And for once she was actually a quite bit optimistic. And a little bit crafty. They could take advantage of this and hold something against her 2012A self.

“Though that does give me an idea. You’re brilliant Mr.Mcfly!” She wanted to hug him once they made their way into the next room though she was going to have to wait for the time being. Now they were in the main hallway. Once more there were tubes and plumbing going everywhere. This used to be where the first floor flats were until it got redecorated. She was looking around trying to find where the main breaker room was. That was where the gist of the plan was going to be formed.

“All we have to do is cut off the power to this place and not give it back until she agrees to help us fix what is wrong! With the way that there was a short circuit there, that means she only really had the chance to renovate the main areas and add on to the existing wiring. We can just shut down the main switch and she won’t be able to do anything. Or so I hope anyways. Once we do that we can go to the past and everything will be fin—agh!” She held her stomach and felt the painful effects of the ripples catching up to her. Her hands slowly started to fade away. With so little time they had to be moving quicker than ever.
“W—We need to find the breaker room!”
